Yamagata, Japan - SDC Handbook Design

This handbook front-to-back cover design was made on order for the local Skills Development Conference in Yamagata, Japan. The idea included incorporating various unique aspects of local culture and staple foods as well as tourist attractions to showcase on the cover. In the front, the negative space is in the shape of the prefecture itself, and in the back is the prefectural flag of three mountain peaks.
